I have recently installed DPCL on Linux. I am running Red Hat Linux 7.3. (linux version 2.4.18-4, gcc version 2.96) and am a newbie to DPCL. When I tried running the sample 'hello' program available in the distribution, it just aborted when doing a bconnect. One thing which I am not sure about is whether my xinetd.conf file is properly configured for dpclSD. It contains the following directive for dpclSD. service dpclSD { type = UNLISTED socket_type = stream protocol = tcp wait = no server = /opt/dpcl/bin/dpclSD port = 7895 } Assuming that this is correct, what could the problem be? Something in bconnect is causing the program to abort. I would greatly appreciate if someone helped me out with this. Thanks, Kunal |
