[Dpcl-announce] DPCL 3.3.3 available for download

DPCL version 3.3.3 is available for download from the downloads page at 
http://oss.software.ibm.com/dpcl. Install images are available for AIX 5.2 
and Linux Red Hat 8.0 and later. A compressed tar file of all DPCL source 
is also available from that same page.

This release of DPCL contains support for authentication and authorization 
of users using IBM's Cluster Security Services package. 

Documentation for DPCL authentication and authorization setup is located 
at http://oss.software.ibm.com/dpcl/doc/DPCL_Security_Setup.doc 

This release also contains fixes for bugs discovered since the previous 
(3.3.2) release including the following 

DPCL crashes when reading long symbol names from target executable 

Incorrect group membership for DPCL daemon when running DPCL in a DCE 
environment 

Problems processing 64-bit FORTRAN applications 

Problems reading symbol tables in programs compiled with xlf 8.0 

Improved performance for communication between the DPCL client and DPCL 
daemons 

Compilation problems building the Linux implementation of DPCL on Red Hat 
8.0 and Red Hat 9.0 

This version of DPCL is intended for production use. This version is 
required for PE Benchmarker users with IBM's Parallel Environment 4.1 
installed.
