In the AGI256 demo available at

(it is a hacked version of Sierra AGI that allows
256-color graphics), the 256-color graphics do not
work. Instead, incorrect 16-color graphics are shown.
It works fine in real DOS.

Hmm works fine with an original ibm vga bios image, probably setting up
the wrong palette weird :)

hehe stupid bug, i set the palette before setting up the correct video mode
so the palette handler gets confused about the mode type. Fixed now
