Currently, XSLT stylesheet generates a separate table from each
tgroup element. As the result, each tgroup has different width,
which makes the result not very nice. Maybe, it's possible to
somehow cause all the tables to have the same width.
I think the solution is to create a wrapper table in the HTML
when there is more than one tgroup. The wrapper table has a
one-cell row for each tgroup, and the table width in each cell
should be 100%. Then all the tables will have the same width.

The comment from bobstayton does not sound like a
workaround to me, rather like comment how the desired
behaviour can be implemented in Docbook XSL. Did I
misunderstood something.
