As you may or may not know, Cisco and Yahoo have merged their two sender authentication technologies (Internet Identified Mail and DomainKeys, respectively) into one common proposal called DomainKeys Identified Mail, or DKIM. Sendmail has been part of the process of coming up with this specification, and along the way a filter has been developed which implements the new proposal. It's very similar in a lot of ways to DomainKeys, with only slight changes required to your published data. This will be available shortly on Sourceforge under the "dkim-milter" project. If you're interested in trying the code out once I post it (should be in only another day or two), you might want to set up your Sourceforge preferences to monitor that project for announcements. I'm not planning to make more than one or two more references to it on the dk-milter lists. Please follow up by posting to dk-milter-discuss, as this list is for announcements only. |
