i'm using a snapshot from the cvs. compiled without any errors. and well, no, i didn't readh ch01s05.html, but i've done all the things that are described there. The problem is that: "mdadm --create /dev/md0 --chunk=64 --level=raid1 --raid-devices=2 /dev/hda1 /dev/hdc1" returns a "couldn't open /dev/md0". Are you using a raid on dl?
