All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/openssh/ The changes in this release are as follows: Support for privilege separation was improved. ssh no longer needs to be installed setuid root for protocol version 2 host-based authentication. The server now supports the Compression option. Project description: This is a Unix/Linux port of OpenBSD's excellent OpenSSH. OpenSSH is a full implementation of the SSH1 protocol and a 99% implementation of the SSH 2 protocol, including sftp client and server support. If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page. You'll be presented with a list of projects you're subscribed to in the right column, which you may cancel by highlighting the project in question and clicking the 'delete' button.
