Hi there, I relatively new to DL and I'm facing the following problem. I'm searching a hook (e.g. a shell script or something) to run "ddup" after reconnection of an ADSL link due to forced disconnect of the provider. There's a german DSL-Router Howto that references the file "/etc/ppp/ip-up" to use for this matter and it states to just include the ddup command in this file. Unfortunately this file seems to have gone missing in an earlier release... ;) Can anyone point me to the right direction? --- Another thing just out of curiosity... Devil Linux is using seperate Firewall scripts for each NIC and the rules are directly written to the init script. Is there a reason why "iptables-save" and "iptables-restore" that are present on the distribution aren't used to save and restore iptables configuration for all NICs? Anyway... Thanks in advance... ;) Regards Tobias |
