Did something change with nameif or mactab? As I was advised in "[Devil-Linux-discuss] bind: cannot remove /tmp/.jailtmp" I started with a new config for 1.2.6 and modified the configuration files to get all working again. In the previous versions I was using /etc/mactab to get the correct ethX number assigned to the correct interface. Now that suddenly doesn't work anymore... Normally "nameif" should be run to make this work (but before any interface goes 'up'), but nameif isn't mentioned anymore in any init.d script. Where whould you advise me to put a exec nameif command to get it working again? :) A bug in the upgrade process: when the upgrade process starts with the preserving links part 2 links don't get preserved well. Some error get's printed on the screen but I can't read it, (it's too fast). They are in /etc/apcupsd. I got this error too when I upgraded to 1.2.5. This time however I didn't keep any of my /etc files during the upgrade. lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 Dec 17 1998 cgi -> /usr/share/apcupsd/cgi lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 Dec 17 1998 css -> /usr/share/apcupsd/css Alex |
