I have been using DevC++ V4 very successfully for the last year. Today I = upgraded to version 4.9.8.5 from http://bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp4985.zip = I opened an old project, and tried to compile it and got this message:=20 ___________________________ Compiler: Default compiler Building Makefile: "C:\Users\CSroka\FreqPlan\Makefile.win" Executing make clean rm -f main.o FreqPlan_private.res FreqPlan.exe process_begin: = CreateProcess((null), rm -f main.o FreqPlan_private.res FreqPlan.exe, = ...) failed. make (e=3D2): The system cannot find the file specified. make.exe: *** = [clean] Error 2 Execution terminated ___________________________ The files "C:\Users\CSroka\FreqPlan\Makefile.win" and = FreqPlan_private.res do exist in the project directory.=20 So I thought the program paths are wrong and need to be set correctly.=20 When I try to point to my DevC++ program folder (In: Tools->Compiler = options->Programs) I notice that all the paths are to C:\Program. Even = if I change them to my actual DevC++ program folder they always revert = to C:\Program. Could this be causing the problem? If so then how do I = get the programs to point to my actual DevC++ folder, and not = C:\Program?=20 Thanks=20 Chris=20 |
