    Hi,

    is it possible to set the quiet setting in the .conf file? eg, like this?

    quiet=true
    quiet=1

    Thanks, Jamie

    Actually I don't think -quiet is going to acheive what I want. Is there a way to stop all output messages?

    Can't you just use syslog with a facility and priority you filter out by your syslog configuration?
    Our use the quiet option with a redirection of stdout to /dev/null?
