works perfectly.

Quirky syntax, but once you get through it, ddclient functions like a charm. I use it to tie a Namecheap domain to my randomly IP-addressed Amazon EC2 machines.

Very useful and easy to use. I use DNS-O-matic and they provide the configuration script to use with ddclient.

It's 2011 and there's still a definite difficulty connecting to services if there are special characters in your password. Let's wake up. Usage of special characters in a password enhance security. I just spent hours figuring out that I can login to zoneedit via the web with a password that contained "*" and "&" yet I could not get ddclient to connect using that same password. Ultimately, eliminating special characters through a password change resolved the issue. I think ddclient and the services it supports need to get on the same sheet of music.
