Hi there. I have a very disturbing problem here... Here's what i do: i mount the open-xchange webdav share using davfs2. (version 1.2.1-3 on ubuntu gutsy server 64bit) with mount /mnt/webdav my entry in /etc/fstab is https://foo.bar/servlet/webdav.infostore /mnt/webdav davfs user, auto 0 0 Everything is fine...the data is readable and usable. /mnt/webdav is about 25 GB big. Now i do a simple cp -r /mnt/webdav /usr/local/backup, and the cp-process starts... again...it seems like everything is ok...but, after a while (let's say after it copied 2 GB of data flawlessly) i get loads of errors like: cp: cannot open `/mnt/webdav/foo/bar/foo.bar' for reading: Input/output error this may (but does not always) lead to a total crash of the mysql-database-daemon. The funny thing is, that it is no problem copying one of these error files manually...they will be copied without any problem. but i can't seem to just copy the whole directory recursivly. and before you tell me, that cp is not the right thing to do...i get this error with rsync, tar and storeBackup also ! :-) So i thought that maybe i have a mysql problem. You can view the log of mysql here: http://pastebin.com/m4bc404e5 That doesnt help though...seems like mysql is only reacting... Maybe you have an idea....? I really need help, as i can't backup my data anymore. Thank you very much ! Sascha |
