Hi Satoshi, Tomcat is based on the Apache tomcat servelet container, and uses their sample web application as a workload. For basic information on any workload, including tomcat, use the "-i" argument at the command line. The suite is continuously under development, so if you look at the svn head you will see a number of workloads that are candidates for the next release. These won't necessarily be documented until the release is made. Our current schedule is for the next release to occur in late October 2009, to coincide with OOPSLA. We hope to have a beta release out in the coming weeks. For those readers of this list who have been patiently waiting for our overdue release, the good news is that we made a lot of progress during the first half of this year. As Satoshi noticed, you can download a snapshot of the current svn head from the benchmark performance pages---you'll see a lot of changes. Better yet, during June were able to take on John Zigman to work full time for the project thanks to generous support from Intel. So we are serious about our October 2009 release target. --Steve On 09/07/2009, at 6:08 PM, Satoshi Yamada wrote: > Hi, > > I just found the workload "tomcat" is included in dacapo-head.jar, > but I cannot find the documentation yet.
