Hi all, I've tried different different combinations of kinds, but as far as I can see, they don't have any effect on the contents on the resulting file. For example, with these arguments: ctags -e -o TAGS --ruby-kinds=-c-f-m-F test.rb I still see all classes and methods in the generated TAGS file. But if I have that in .ctags and look at "ctags --list-kinds" output, all kinds under "Ruby" are marked "[off]". Same with JavaScript sources. Haven't tested with other languages. ctags --version: Exuberant Ctags 5.9~svn20110310, Copyright (C) 1996-2009 Darren Hiebert Compiled: Mar 18 2011, 10:38:14 What am I doing wrong? Regards, Dmitry. |
