I was just trying to show Saar what he should expect to see if he ran the same thing. In other words, you should get the same output from running :!ctags from within Vim as you would get from running ctags from some form of prompt. > | ctags: Warning: Language "sql" already defined I get this since I have *extended* the SQL language using my ctags.cnf file. Personally I would like to get rid of the warning *IF* my definition of the SQL language does not clash with the existing definition. The ctags implementation is Oracle specific so I had to extend it to work with more database vendors. I did that by using expressions in my ctags.cnf. I think a warning is appropriate if my extensions tried to override an existing definition. Dave |
