I'd missed the clearcase bit. I assume Hans, you are referring to the symlink fixups that we put in a few months back? If this is related to clearcase, then I'm sure that won't help. This is almost certainly failing because lstat is not isdentifying directories as such (due to a non-set S_ISDIR flag). Based on the view spec file for a given project, its possible to see subdirectories in a given tree that are not flagged as such= , which of course confuses the everlasting hell out of just about anything, cscope not withstanding. Lim, if you want this to work your best bet is to do what your doing, build the filelist by hand. Clearcase is so hopelessly broken, that -R just isn'= t going to work reliably on it anytime in the near future. Of course, you could always switch your SCM tool to something other than clearcase... :) Regards Neil On 12/19/05, Hans-Bernhard Broeker <br...@ph...> wrote: > > YT Lim wrote: > > OS: Solaris 5.8 > > F/S: NFS (with Clearcase) > ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ > > I'm quite sure that this is the culprit.
