I am interesting in CS as a 3D physics and rendering engine to do a bowling simulation. The best example of this in CS appears to be phyztest, but it does not function correctly for me. The 'string' object works great, but none of the objects collide with each other or the wall, as seems to be the intention. I am currently looking at the problem to see if its just related to my build, but it certainly does not work right 'out of the box'. In the documentation I saw references to SOLID, which is a very nice collision detector that would fit well into CS. The docs also mentioned that the physics engine was under development and that Ben Sprague was working on it, although I didn't see him in the developer list. Is anybody currently working on this aspect of CS? I would like to contribute to the project, my goal being that when some object was loaded into CS it would automatically (if enabled) have a physical body connected to it so you could throw it around, have it bounce off things, etc..
