Running builds once a day is easy enough with CruiseControl... simply set a sleep period of 24 hours, then invoke it when you want it to start. For checking ClearCase, use the ClearCaseElement inside of <modificationset>. It's documentated at http://cruisecontrol.sourceforge.net/anttasks.html#clearcaseelement > Alternatively, I can just have ClearCase talk directly with Ant to schedule > and run the daily builds. This will give you builds, but the reporting isn't very good. > Do you know any good approaches I should take to tackle one of these tasks ? Use CruiseControl. Really. It's not hard. :) However, I can't really give specifics because I used ClearCase and CruiseControl at my previous job, not my current one. As that was nine months ago, my memory isn't clear on the details. Robert. -- "Software is too expensive to build cheaply" Robert Watkins email: rob...@bi... |
