You get the From: but not the From - note the : The From: is what you would consider the from address, but the From is the real from address - i.e. the address where bounces will go. (Also known as the Envelope-From:) For me for example, the From: in this message is Ariel <ass...@ds...> But the From is ar...@sh... (which is also in the Sender: but doesn't have to be). For pine users try this (use this message if you like): Pipe the message (|) and use the ctrl-w and ctrl-r options to get a raw delimited message. Pipe it to cat, just so you can see it, and you'll see the From header. The delimited says to add the From and the Raw means to include all headers, and leave attachments as is. -Ariel |
