Hello, Good to see someone else else with the same problem - I'm an FC6 user. Installing the SVN/CVS versions for both made it work for me. Here are some brief insructions: And I assume you've done an: apt-get -i build-essentials ==== Installing libdc1394 from CVS ==== Because of incomatibilities between various releases of Coriander and libdc1394, you may be required to install this from the repository. To do so, firstly check out the repository:
svn co https://libdc1394.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/libdc1394/trunk libdc1394
Now, change to the directory:
cd libdc1394 cd libbc1394
And now, we have to generate the makefile using autotools:
autoreconf -i -s
And make as usual:
./configure make make install
==== Corander from CVS ==== Occasionally, you may be asked to install Corander from its CVS version, especially for incompatibilities between it and libdc1394. To do so is a fairly easy process: Firstly, download the source:
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:ano...@co...:/cvsroot/coriander co -P coriander
And installing is only marginally more difficult than usual:
cd coriander ./autogen.sh ./configure make make install
Hope this helps, Damien.
