Category: General Group: v2.1 Beta 3 Status: Closed Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Sebastian Stein (steinchen) Summary: JavaScript Error after downloading a file Initial Comment: After downloading a file from Contineo, the functions menu does not work and gives a JavaScript error. The error points to line 720 of JSCookMenu.js, the command being "if (document.all)". This seems to only happen with Internet Explorer on Windows 2000 as I do not get the error when using firefox or windows XP (when accessing the same installation of Contineo). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alan (alansquires) Date: 2006-05-18 15:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1379003 Hi, I have installed 2.1 beta 4 and this bug is still present. Seems to only happen on Internet Explorer browsers prior to sp2. It happens on Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP1. It is a new line number this time, it is line 920 now, but it is still the same line of code. Once the page is reloaded it works fine again. Thanks, Alan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sebastian Stein (steinchen) Date: 2006-05-13 05:02 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=79775 I upgrade the JSCookMenu library. This should fix the issue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-01-26 10:33 Message: Logged In: NO The error message dosen't help much. It says: A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line: 720 Error: Unspecified error. Basically it looks like a bug in IE. Do you get also an error message? Some strings and not just the line number maybe? Sebastian ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-01-19 12:15 Message: Logged In: NO It also only happens when you choose to save the file, if you choose to open the file then it works fine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=586478&aid=1409983&group_id=88385 |
