At some point, the ability to extract the current page into a file was available in the file menu (from what I gather looking at a prior feature request that's now closed).
There's no such thing at the moment. Even though there is "edit archive", which might work, that's extremelly convoluted.
The suggestion is to allow to just export the current page direclty from the "file" or "edit" menu again.

Ideally if there was a basic system of plugins that would allow some users to easily add this sort of thing without necessarily having to include it by default, that would be great.
