Ack! Sorry I goofed on this image. I thought I tested the final after the copy but obviously I did not. I did an 'apt-get clean all' to clean the apt cache, but as you point out it leaves a lot there. Any ideas on how to do this better? Also, I'll remove the root passwd... I thought that people felt root should have a passwd but I'll leave that up to the user. Anything else that should be removed/cleared that you didn't already mention? How about the SHA keys?
