Please check, that SLiRP DNS-Server is the first address. cat /etc/resolv.conf # SLiRP DNS resolver nameserver 10.0.2.3 #alternative servers... nameserver 192.168.0.1 > I've seen comments by Henry Nestler about unresolved slirp issues, but I > thought they were mostly fixed in 0.63 final. What is different between wget and emerge? Version 0.6.3 final (5 Feb 2006) has all patches from the 0.7 version for slirp code. In this case, 0.7.1-hn11 and 0.6.3 should have the same problem. Kernel version and coLinux managemants are differ. The ARP handling for first connect is lightly others. But should no problem, if your linux ip for slirp is all times 10.0.2.15 A known problem: Some big transfers over UDP (NFS) have problem for blocksize >3000...4000 bytes. Currently not solved in 0.6 and henry's versions. That is currently under developing. > Also, I always get a kernel panic the first time I launch colinux, but > not the second time. Please run the colinux debugger before starts coLinux (the first launch) and send me your logfile (zipped) please. I will check this. colinux-debug-daemon.exe -d -p -s prints=31,misc=31 > debug.txt -- Henry Nestler |
