Both coLinux and VMware allow you to continue using your existing install. I am booting the same physical partition (with Windows XP on it) either natively or under VMware, and it works nicely. Likewise, I boot the same physical partition (with Debian GNU/Linux unstable on it) either natively or under coLinux, and it works nicely. The only "problem" is that the coLinux kernel does not have iptables configured, but my init scripts use it. So I get error messages when booting under coLinux. Kai |
