Hello all! I love linux, but am t ied to Winblows because of problems with my Digitus wireless network card, as well as Autocad and Microsoft Word which the other denizens of my home frequently use... I understand conceptually previous advice regarding the enlargement, but... 1. How to create the new "root" file to copy the old one into it under Windows, 2. Is it possible to mount/create co-linux volumes (files) from under true genuine linux? If so, I'd boot from a gentoo cd, mount windows partition, create file, mount file, copy stagex into mounted file, extract, ... boot mounted file, ... Last time I used linux it couldn't write to NFS partitions, so how can I help myself? 3. Can I create a file containing with an arbitrary fs? Like ext3, xfs, etc ... ? Also how, as I am not neither a linux nor co-linux expert. I understand it has to be done via the loop devices? How about co-linux support of cloop devices? I.e. support for encrypted co-linux volumes. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com |
