I'm almost there, I can ping from Linux to the TAP IP address but not out to the internet. Could you please tell me what your IP's on both windows interfaces are and what the IP on your Linux side is? Also the default gateway on both linux and windows? Also, is there a Debian (Knoppix) commandline program for altering the network IP/netmask/dns/default gateway? If not how do you set default gateway and IP? Thanks (Almost there) Doug P Sam Moffatt wrote: > Setup the tap device to have a static address matching the settings > you have under colinux - with a different ip of course - and it should > work perfectly after that point. > > > On Wed, 02 Feb 2005 22:36:17 -0800, Douglas Phillipson > <do...@in...> wrote: > >>I just installed colonix/colinux with Knoppix 3.7 instead of 3.6.
