No. Mostly you don't need to create an initrd, unless you would use special file systems or boot devices. Simple run "sudo make modules_install" to have the modules in running system. I suggest you to change the CONFIG_LOCALVERSION to have no problems with any older installations of same kernel. -- Henry N. |
