This is the first public release of series 3 and should be considered beta. This is a total re-write from scratch, with no code being carried over from the previous versions. Amoungst the improvements are: * uses GNU tools, and is now built in a generic and standard way (which also allows for RPM builds) * no longer uses kernel ioctl's, uses X windows SendEvents instead * meta keys now work correctly * windows can be retiled mis-session (ALT-r) * can "autoquit" after the last client window has closed * hostname checks before connection s attmpted (to catch non-existant host names) * queries X directly instead of extra binaries being used for required information This version is faster on startup and has been proven to work on more platforms (i.e. now works correctly on Cygwin, as well as running on Solaris, Fedora, Redhat, Debian, Ubuntu, Centos and *BSD) I am also considering adding the functionality to capture an already open window so it can be controlled by cssh (if this is proven useful and/or requested). The source.gz and rpm files are available from here: RPM: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/clusterssh/clusterssh-3.13 .1-1.i386.rpm?download <http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/clusterssh/clusterssh-3.13.1-1.i386.rpm?download> SRC: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/clusterssh/clusterssh-3.13 .1.tar.gz?download <http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/clusterssh/clusterssh-3.13.1.tar.gz?download> Please post any bugs, features or requests to the homepage forums.
