Sam, I'm astonished: there are several postings of yours where you write that you prefer few function names with more keyword etc. arguments, yet for the ffi, instead of re-using ffi:c-lines for init/exit functions, you provide separate three names for rarely used functionality?!? All these clutter the package export list, causing more conflict potential for people doing USE-PACKAGE. I'd have used something along (ffi:c-lines :exit "~&to_call_on_exit();~%") as once suggested.
