Using PCL instead of CLISP's native CLOS implementation is certainly a possibility. There is also some other issues regarding a CLISP port, but nothing that will make such a thing impossible. In fact I would very much like to see a CLISP port done, but (at least for the moment) I have decided to consentrate on CMUCL and hope that someone else would eventually do ports for other implementations. I will of course provide as much assistance as necessary to make this happend. > > Whatever you decide - I'm looking forward in getting the first release > of clg2, > for CLISP+CMUCL or only for CMUCL! Although it is not very usable yet¹, the rewrite is now available in CVS at SourceForge (<URL:http://sourceforge.net/projects/clg>. I have also created a mailing list to discuss the development of clg, and taken the liberty to CC this reply to the list. ¹I have large commit coming soon which will reintroduce most of the bindings. -- Espen |
