I read every single one, every single day, all in one place, using an easy-to-use interface that is completely consistent between them. I've been doing so for the last ten years (although the FOSS in question has shifted over that time). I also have a nice offline archive of all those messages. Aside from this sentence, I will abstain from complaining about the futility of making concessions for the benefit of people who can't figure out how to use a mailing list. I suppose you could run an RSS feed, but that won't make it easy to reply, or to display a threaded view. The suggestion to use a forum that gates to e-mail sounds like it might serve everyone the best. JT |
