Hi Chandra, Could you explain again how your physical memory controller will work? From what I remember, there will be a specified quota that is only enforced when the system runs into memory pressure. Is that right? Is there a way to also specify a hard upperbound? Also, would it make sense to extend your memory controller to support both phys and virtual memory limits. The reason I ask is that we do have researchers whose experiements run out of control and fill up our swap space. Our PlanetLab nodes are typically hosed when this happens. Thanks, Marc |
