Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |

Terrance, Sorry for the delay in responding. The changes I made to the latest version of CGI::Test was just a reformatting of the code and changing the readme files. The functionality was unchanged from the previous version. Still, I understand the frustration. Thank you for providing more information on the problem, and I will try to address this soon. By 'soon', I mean this weekend. Hi, when running the test suite for CGI::Test, I get quite a few errors. The first one was this: t/get...........ok 3/13PANIC: pre-condition FAILED: creation routine for <BUTTON> ($node->tag eq "button") [/home/metaperl/.cpan/build/CGI-Test-0.104/blib/lib/CGI/Test/Form/Widget/Button.pm:45] so I added a warn to Button.pm to see what the deal was: warn "node_tag: " . $node->tag; DREQUIRE $node->isa("HTML::Element"); DREQUIRE $form->isa("CGI::Test::Form"); DREQUIRE $node->tag eq "button", "creation routine for <BUTTON>"; $this->_common_init($form); and it turns out that the node tag is input and not button. So either the DREQUIRE needs to be fixed to expect input instead of button or the data passed to the subroutine should be input. This same error happens throughout the test suite. I am running on Cygwin (latest version). |
