There was a problem in version 2.1.0 that prevented new users from being created. It has been corrected and a new version 2.1.1 has been released.

CentraView version 2.1.0 has been released. The bump in the minor version number reflects quite a bit of change under the hood but little functional change.

There have been many improvements and quite a lot of cleanup under the hood for this release. The most work was done to support internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n). And many thanks to the team at ECOsoft.net Germany GmbH, for their work to get CentraView to German speaking customers. CentraView is a browser-based Enterprise Java (J2EE) Contact Management, Groupware, Collaboration, CRM, SFA, Project Management software. Run locally or as a hosted service. Built on Apache Tomcat, JBoss, MySQL, Linux (Fedora, RedHat and others) & Windows.

Built on Apache Tomcat, JBoss, MySQL, Linux (Fedora, RedHat and others) & Windows.

Most of the work for this release was done to make the install easier and to get it to work with modern versions of the supporting software. Now there is a single download that includes CentraView, JBoss 4.0.2 and a nightly build of the latest MySQL Connector/J, these have been packaged up in this manner to make the install go much more smoothly than in the past. This release includes a number of bug fixes including the addition of a way to manage Public Folders in the file module, and work has been done to get it to work with MySQL 4.1.
