Grant, as to "grayscaling Mercury": I see two different alternatives: a) Try to do a best guesstimate coloration for Mercury (gray-with-a-tint-of-brown), but switch to a grayscale Mercury when the LOK mask is turned on b) grayscale gray looks quite a lot more dull than RGB "gray", since many facets of nearby tones produce a much more lively image. I would strongly vote for RGB gray, of course such that 'scientific rigor' may still be pertained. A lively RGB gray coloration may easily be cloned from other images... Bye Fridger PS: Each time I look at the distribution's Saturn texture on my laptop, I am reminded that it is far from perfect! Too pale, too blue etc...We could do MUCH better nowadays, given Cassini's imaging...
