In XEphem, we have exactly the same setup: infos about selected object in the popup (3rd mouse button) and continuous readout of ra|dec and alt|az in the upper left corner. That's a proven solution, very practical, indeed. However the actual selection should always be visible in the upper left, I think. It is very important in Celestia. Bye Fridger |
