I will be off-line Sunday through Wednesday while climbing Mt. Rainier. Before I go, I'd like to take care of three things: - Commit the Modify star code (I'll provide a new version of the patch that has Add as well as Replace and Modify) - Commit the simplified surface object placement code (SurfaceObject/Topocentric frame/FixedAttitude/FixedPosition) - Check in the particle system code *disabled*; I don't want to work on this more before 1.6.0, but I feel a bit nervous with it sitting on my hard drive, and it doesn't seem worth creating a custom branch for it. Aside from the new modules, the only code change is three extra lines in meshmanager.cpp. Reasonable? I think my chances of summitting this time are only about 50/50 because of weather; temperatures at the summit will be -20C and there's a good chance of snow above 2500m. A friend of mine was on the mountain last week when half a meter of snow fell. His rope team was caught in a small slab avalanche and almost swept off a cliff. Fortunately, I don't think that much snow is in the forecast this time. --Chris |
