Hi, the last remark to the new cedet lib for today ;-) This is no bug but a suggestion: I saw that the new semantic-format-tag... functions can use images for protection-symbols. This looks very nice but nevertheless i have two suggestions: public and private are very hard to distinct - maybe different colors in the images (green for public and red for private) would help - but do not know - there should be no fruit-salad at the screen ;-) Next suggestion (which is IMHO much more important than the previous one): Unfortunatelly not only members of types have now these nice images as protection-symbols but also arguments of methods and operators. IMHO only the members of types should be displayed with protection-symbols, they do not make any sense for method-arguments... Hmm, have just finished one test with CVS GNU Emacs 21.3 for Windows (which can display images) and there are no images for arguments, just for type-members - but i can swear that yesterday during another test there where protection images also at the arguments.... Mysteriously....but seems that i have done something wrong....could you imagine what?? Anyway, seems to be correct now so forget my second suggestion...sorry for the noise. But there is another bug(?). The protection-symbols will be displayed with images...well, but if i run my GNU Emacs 21.3 for Windwos without images-support then there are no images for the protections-symbols (ok), but also no ascii-protection-symbols (- + #) (not ok). Thoughts? Ciao, Klaus P.S. One time more: Really great stuff, the new cedet 1.0!!!! |
