Hi, I was using cedet not for a long time maybe about 6 months. I was never able to save semanticdb files in to a separate directory until now. What I found is that if I customize the variable using customization buffer and save it, on the next reload it will not be used. Customization is still there but it is not used for some reason. I have to use setq statement to make it take effect. Was this issue posted before? Or maybe I am doing something wrong? I am using emacs 21.3.1 on windows (please dont flame me for this, I have to earn my bread :)). I think it is the latest precompiled emacs on the gnu site. cedet version is 1.0-pre3 which I believe is latest. This behavior was observed with older versions of cedet as well. Just as a note because I am sure you all know this. The customization saves variable in this way: (custom-set-variables '(semanticdb-default-save-directory "c:/home/semdb")) Somehow this is not picked up on the next reload but setq is. I would debug this myself but I have limited knowledge of emacs programming and lisp debugging. Could you please cc to my email if you answer to this message. Regards, Alex |
