Thank you for the proposition, if ever there is a problem with this one day I will come back to you. But actually this is not what I meant at all in my last mail :-) . My message lacked of explanations so this is my fault. What I meant is that the long term goal implies having a simple grammar in the php-mode repository, which just handles just a bit more than tagging (no local analysis). Then, minor modes would provide more complete grammars to perform, for example, type inference. The two or more grammars I was talking about were these ones.
