Hi, I experienced bug 112 in emacs 24, using the built in version of cedet. I tried to add a comment/discussion to the bug on sourceforge but could not figure it out :\ . I narrowed this bug (in my case) down to not having the header files for C++ installed. I resolved this by installing g++ on my computer using apt-get install g++ in Debian. I narrowed the bug down by: using toggle-debug-on-error, stepping through the code until I found that the check for the C++ header files here: (gcc-output (semantic-gcc-query gcc-cmd "-v" "-E" "-x" lang null-device)) which is located in semantic-gcc-get-include-paths. I found that this was just causing semantic to bomb out if it could not find the headers, this should probably inform the user that they are missing headers or something more useful then just bombing out ;P. If I have time I will fix it and submit a patch. Thanks for your efforts/contributions to Emacs, they are very much appreciated. -Cory irc:ckoch786 |
