Hello. I just installed emacs 23.2 which comes with CEDET (v1.07). This is the first time I try to use CEDET and I get stuck on the initial setup instructions. I followed the following: Start with the general CEDET setup. Be sure to enable both EDE, and Semantic's basic code helpers. (load-file "~/cedet-1.0pre6/common/cedet.el") (global-ede-mode 1) ; Enable the Project management system (semantic-load-enable-code-helpers) ; Enable prototype help and smart completion I modified the directory in the first line to the location of the emacs integrated CEDET: My ~/.emacs file: (load-file "/usr/local/share/emacs/23.2/lisp/cedet/cedet.elc") (global-ede-mode 1) ; Enable the Project management system (semantic-load-enable-code-helpers) ; Enable prototype help and smart completion But when I restart emacs I get an error message for the last line: Symbol's function definition is void: semantic-load-enable-code-helpers Anyone else that passed the general CEDET setup? |
