my experiences with debugging idle-stuff concerning with ECB: It's a pain and often debug-on-error doesn't help much... IMHO the only way to success if the idle-stuff contains tracing-code which can be switched-on by the user... ECB contains in it's idle-stuff such a trace-code... Maybe this would be a good idea for CEDET too?
