I've found the problem with opening .snp, etc file from the command line or via Windows Explorer. The problem is that when - set startup [open $argv r] - is executed (init.tcl line 630), an error occurs - couldn't open "{c:\dev\etude1\etude1.snp}":no such file or directory. Notice the curly braces - it's a list of one element. I changed the line to - set startup [open [lindex $argv 0] r] - and it works fine. There is another place in openGraph (files.tcl line 188) that has the same problem. Does this work as is on other operating systems? I can't imagine that it would. Should I make the change conditional for windows or for all OS's? Phil |
