Some time ago Paul wrote a patch implementing a Junior Job around keeping stacktraces when throws CDKException. For example, try { } catch (SomeException exception) { throw new CDKException("Message", exception); } instead of merely: try { } catch (SomeException exception) { throw new CDKException("Message"); } This really improves CDK usability as it is easier to track what and where something goes wrong. The patch is fairly small and rather to the point; it looks fine to me, and needs one more review to get included for CDK 1.2.2... See: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1864371&group_id=20024&atid=320024 The Git repos/branch info can be found at that link...
