The user-visible code change from 1.17 is the handling of case when components (systems, modules, files, whatever) are named with symbols. What it does now is: takes the symbol name, lowercases it. Uniformly. I know this is not :case :common and so I will probably burn in hell for it. I don't care, it makes much more sense anyway. I updated the README file slightly as well, though it's still a poor substitute for properly organized documentation. There are a variety of other changes that you're less likely to notice unless you're extending asdf - and even than it probably shouldn't affect you unless you're using *component-parent{-pathname}* (which don't exist any more) or *known-extensions* (likewise) It passes the minimal test suite, I don't anticipate major problems, but please have a play and send bug reports as usual.
