Hello,

Trying out version 4.6.5 using Windows XP SP3 with Java 1.6.0_21. Not sure why but the editor never allows me to press SAVE or CANCEL. Pressing EDIT does not seem to do anything and I am "stuck" in the editor.

Thanks!

Paul

    Hello Paul,

We have tested the tool under the conditions you exposed and we were not able to replicate the bug. Could you give us more details of it? Which file have you downloaded, the .exe file, the .jar file or the sources?

    Regards.
    The CatMDEdit development team.

    Hello,
Sorry to take so long to respond. I am still unable to get the editor to function. I have tried on multiple machines. I tried installing the windows installer and via the java installer and tried downloading the source. You do know that the source package is missing the catmdedit-4.6.5.jar file, right? Anyhow, all show the exact same problem. When I click on the EDIT button I get the following error

I can confirm the exact same symptoms with CatMDEdit 4.6.5 on Debian Squeeze with Java 1.6.0_22.

I had the same problem on Windows XP SP3, this was fixed by disabling Java 1.6.0_22 and enabling Java 1.6.0_20
