#173 Hierarchical navigation has xtra padding on top, left, right
If you take a peek at any of the navigators using a
hierarchical navigation scheme on the Union Project
site, you'll see that the navigator has a padding
around it. Even when I set the width for the button
using some of the new tools, the problem isn't
alleviated. Each of the blocks featuring a
hierarchical navigator has a margin and padding of 0 on
all sides. I didn't go ahead and try to make work
arounds for this issue, but left things the way they
were so you can better see the problem. This has been
a problem with the hierarchical navigator for some
time, but I had learned how to work with it within my
designs, because I knew the hierarchical navigation was
going to get a make-over anyway sometime soon. I can't
however make it look good on the Union Project site.

Right. And that's fine. I've put a background color in to
fill the gab and it works fine with the template...
